Valentine’s Day is almost here! For most, this means lots of candy and sweets – but not this year.

Spicy Lemon-Honey Berries on Creamy Almond Butter Toast
• 2 slices of Brownberry Healthfull® Flax and Sunflower
• 2 tablespoons almond butter
• 2 tablespoons 0% fat Greek yogurt
• 2 tablespoons orange honey, or honey of choice
• 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
• 1/8 teaspoon hot sauce
• 6 medium sliced strawberries
• 6 sliced blackberries or berry of choice
• 1 tablespoon chopped or sliced almonds
• 4 medium mint leaves, chiffonade
• 8-10 very small basil leaves

Serving Size: 2 open-faced sandwiches

In a small bowl, mix almond butter and yogurt until blended. Set aside. In a small bowl, mix honey, lemon juice and hot sauce until blended. Gently toss strawberries, blackberries, and almonds in honey. Set aside. Toast both slices of bread. Spread toast with a layer of creamy almond butter. Top with lemon-honey glazed berries and almonds. Sprinkle mint and basil leaves over berries, and serve.
