It’s a philosophy that extends beyond our bread to the world around us. We consistently work to improve the quality of our ingredients, reduce our carbon footprint, and give back to the communities we serve.
It all started back in 1946 with an oven, a mixer, a second-hand delivery truck, and a determined woman named Catherine Clark. Back then, you couldn’t find the premium bread that we love today. Batch by batch, her good, old-fashioned wheat bread came out of the oven looking “brown as a berry.” Today, though Catherine no longer makes it herself, Brownberry® is still committed to bringing you bread you can believe in—so you can live your life and love your loaf.
At Brownberry®, we pride ourselves on our ability to find sustainable, common-sense solutions to the issues that affect our business and the world around us. And now we have even more to take pride in: our brand is part of Bimbo Bakeries USA (BBU).
