Ingredients

  • 2 slices of brownberry Oatnut bread, toasted
  • 2 ounces oven-roasted turkey
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 4–6 basil leaves
  • Garlic basil aioli (recipe follows)
  • Garlic Basil Aioli:
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ cup fresh basil, roughly chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • Special Tools:
  • Panini maker

Instructions

  1. Make the aioli. Combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, basil, salt, pepper and garlic in a food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Spread aioli on each slice of bread.
  3. Top 1 slice with turkey, tomato and fresh basil.
  4. Cap with remaining bread slice, aioli side down.
  5. Cook sandwich in panini press until golden brown (approximately 3 minutes).
