Sweet and Savory Ham and Turkey Melt

  • 8 slices of Brownberry Healthy Multi-grain bread
  • 8 oz. smoked turkey breast
  • 8 oz. black forest ham
  • 1/4 c. sour cherry preserves
  • 1/4 c. whole grain mustard
  • 4 slices sharp provolone cheese
  • 4 slices mild swiss cheese
  • 1 c. granny smith apples, sliced


  1. Combine cherry preserves with whole grain mustard.
  2. Spread the mixture on one side of all 8 slices of bread.
  3. Top 4 of the slices with sliced apples.
  4. On a cookie sheet, divide the turkey into 4 piles.
  5. Top the turkey with ham divided equally amongst all 4 stacks.
  6. Top each stack with 1 slice of provolone cheese and 1 slice of swiss cheese.
  7. Place the pan in a 350 degree preheated oven for 4 minutes or until the cheese has completely melted over the top of the meat.
  8. emove the pan from the oven and place each stack on top of the bread with apples on it.
  9. Top with the other slice of bread and serve.
